Grupo de Empresa Issufo Nurmamade or GEIN Group of companies was established by the visionary Mr. Issufo Nurmamade.He has a foundation of more than 40 years, of various business activities including trading of commodities and general items,farming and integrated manufacturing activities.Mr. Issufo Nurmamade, started as a producer of Cotton and Cashew.He ventured into trading of same products and pioneered the starting of group co-operative farming of cotton, prior to and after independence of Mozambique.He has sustained it through the internal civil wars and other calamities.Highly impressed by his good efforts in group co-operative farming, and as a token of appreciation for his sincerity,hard work and passion for progress of Mozambique.
The Government of Mozambique has granted concessional areas to Mr. Issufo Nurmamade for extensive farming of cotton, thereby helping farmers of the region.GEIN Group of companies were established in the year 1986 by Mr. Issufo Nurmamade, keeping a foundation of ethical, honest business practices. He diversified from commodity trading , general trading and farming,to integrated manufacturing activities related to Agro commodity.GEIN has now grown into a large conglomerate with business interests in Cotton production, Ginning,Exports,Palm oil refining,Soap manufacturing, Cotton seed crushing, and Solvent Extraction.In addition to above, under GEIN, various other trading activities of commodities like cashew, rice, salt, edible oil, sugar, soap, pharmaceuticals, etc are being done on regular basis. Transport Business is one of the latest additions to ever expanding portfolio of group business.We have 3 Cotton Ginneries with total processing capacity of 750 Mt of seed cotton per day, Cotton seed crushing of 150 MT cotton seed per day. Palm Oil refining of 250 MT per day, Laundry Soap Manufacturing of 100 Mt per day and Solvent Extraction of 150 MT per day.
